Finding Rhythm and Inspiration.

Finding Life's rhythm can be rough after having a child or a change in your daily routine.
Up until I had Zeke I had very little energy to do basic things, putting on socks, doing laundry, making dinner... everything was an ordeal.

Sometimes, I can get lost in finding balance in everyday chores (washing dishes, clothes, diapers, making meals) and finding motivation needed to start a project. So, this week I set out to stimulate some creativity in my life.

Whether this means painting my nails, listening to good music or finding a new do for my hair....sometimes it's just the little things that can change your mood and give you the inspiration you need!

So, below I put together a list of some inspiration that helped me out this week:

These beautiful cream colored dress!

This is very intriguing...I will be following daily.

  6. Ansley, Ii cannot thank you enough, oddly, for your blog post on May 25th, 2009! Years ago I lost a poem I loved by Brad Walker, the Potter in Dahlega. I have scoured the Internet in the past and even called Brad, but could not remember the name of the poem. Today, I tried again and stumbled onto your blog post from 2009. You posted one poem of Brad's, THE poem! "This is How it All Began". Probably doesn't seem like a big deal, but losing a fun poem, is kind of a big deal. Thank you for your blog. Thank you for loving Georgia artists!
    Best Regards- Salem Suber

  8. to salem ~ I am so glad you found the poem...I actually haven't seen that poem in a while, it was good to re-read!
I just picked up this one last month on my visit:

    From ignorance, greed is born.
    From greed, fear is born.
From fear, mistrust and violence arise.

    From compassion, understanding is born.
    From understanding, forgiveness is born.
    From forgiveness, trust is possible.
From trust, peace is set in motion.

    Be Well,
    Ansley
