Anyone have a recipe or two you'd like to share for a warm winter alcoholic drink? I have tried several but am always looking for a new one.... Trying to stay extra warm over here! ;)
Well, I don't drink but I do have a great winter drink that kept us warm in England...and maybe you can add your own 'spirit' to it.
I like to mix a couple of juices, like cranberry & blueberry, cranberry & cherry, cranberry & apple, etc.etc., in equal parts and pour into a saucepan. A few drops of vanilla essence, a Big dashing of cinnamon, and if you have any jam in the fridge, I like to scrape some of the more liquid parts off the top and put that in for a more concentrated 'fruitiness.' Heat, stir, bring to a boil and pour into mugs.
I don't know what kind of alcohol would go with that? Maybe some type of liquer.
