Rockin Weekend

The weekend is coming to a close

Being so tired last night, I didn't think I would make it downtown for the Halloween Festivities...

Thankfully though I did because a good time was had!

Man, what a Wild Rumpus it was....some pretty awesome costumes.

I got several pictures but then my camera decided to shoot me an error message!  WHAT?!

Here are the shots recovered from my lovely camera:

Some were very creepy but oh so creative!

Halloweening

I can't believe it's already Halloween again!  Seems like just yesterday Mr Wolfe and I were walking up the streets of Athens with the rest of the Wild Rumpus crowd.

Me, expecting my second baby and out too late, but oh, having such a good time. 

I remember thinking then, LIVE IT UP!

The next night I got to take my love out trick-or-treating.  

And now, 

today, 

it's with a little addition, pumpkin picking, more cute pumpkin pictures, 

my oldest one actually cutting the pumpkins this year, making seasoned pumpkin seeds, hayrides, ghost stories and again we'll make our way downtown to trick-or-treat and to the Wild Rumpus!

Did I mention cute Halloween pictures?

Oh yes, I have taken many, but here are just a few:

The decorations are hung, the pumpkins are carved, the seeds have been eaten and the pumpkin soup has been made...

Now,
 what costume will I wear tomorrow night!?

Lazy Days

I love a lazy day.  

The only day to do that around this home is on Sundays. 

The day calls for:

a playful morning in bed with all the babes,

fresh brewed coffee, (because some days it's a warm up in the microwave day),

a big homemade breakfast,

some knitting,

and a ride out to the countryside.

Besides baby naps that is the only thing that a regular scheduled event in our home, 

Lazy Sundays.

Autumn

Fall deserves a table setting of it's own, 

actually it deserves a whole page of it's own.  

With its beautiful sunny days, 

fresh apple pickin', 

plays and walks in the park, 

pumpkin patch picking, 

hot chocolate drinkin', 

quilt sitting and knitting 

and lazy days at home with doors and windows open wide.

Yes, it certainly deserves a page of it's own.

So, 

we welcome you, Autumn, with all your lushiness!
